(1) To recommend a name to the Government of Nepal for the appointment of the chairman of the committee, there will be a committee consisting of the secretary of the ministry and an expert member related to the insurance sector under the coordination of the member of the National Planning Commission who looks after the relevant field and the chairman will be appointed according to this section on the recommendation of the committee.
(2) When recommending the appointment of the chairman, the committee as per sub-section (1) shall recommend to the Government of Nepal the names of three persons from among the persons who have qualified as per section-8.
(3) The Government of Nepal shall appoint one of the persons recommended as per sub-section (2) to the post of Chairman.
(4) According to sub-section (3), the appointment of the chairman should be done one month before the vacant position.
(5) The Government of Nepal shall appoint the members as per clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (1) of section 6 from among the persons who have attained the qualifications as per sub-section (1) of the section. At the time of such appointment, at least one woman should be appointed.
